“JTAA Travel Basketball is a volunteer based program that relies on the parents in our community to (among many other things) coach competitive basketball. For our organization to grow and improve we need to support our program with resources that can help develop the level of play, participation and coaching. It is with these goals in mind that we reviewed the Skills2Score Program offered by On Court Player Development and decided to become a Network Partner.
Randy Rienas, Sport Director, Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association (JTAA), Travel BasketballConrad Foss, Vice President for USSSA Basketball, believes the combination of player development, coach and parent education along with well organized tournaments and leagues is the solution the game needs. “For many years we have been focused on our core business of providing quality tournaments and events. On Court has spent many years compiling information and creating a player development system. By putting these two elements together, we believe we will be able to create even more value for our players and coaches.”
Conrad Foss, vice president of USSSA BasketballDon Dziagwa, who is starting is 19th year as head coach and eighth as the assistant athletic director, believes his program can be even stronger. His strategy is centered on building his players’ fundamentals – a philosophy he says more coaches should embrace. That’s why Dziagwa implemented the On Court Player Development® program and immediately introduced his team to the Virtual Trainer, which includes hundreds of drills that can be customized to fit any player or team’s needs. “I have been involved with the game of basketball for over 40 years, 30-plus as a coach,” he says. “Over the years, I have come across some great things. But I would have to say that the On Court Player Development® program is one of the best training aids I have ever come across.”
Don Dziagwa, Varsity Coach, Tampa Catholic High School“Coach Z, Thanks for the on-line video(s). Really cool stuff. I am in!

John Basile, president, Florida Basketball & Volleyball Association (FBVA)Scott Chitwood, executive vice president of Carolina Courts said the program is an ideal fit for its facility. “On Court Player Development® has created an innovative curriculum for helping players improve. We are excited about how the tools we can offer customers in the Carolina market can differentiate our programs - from certifying our coaches to utilization of the online virtual trainer in our programs.”
Scott Chitwood, executive vice president of Carolina Courts“I’m very happy to be a part of the On Court Player Development® Advisory Team, which is dedicated to providing young players with the skills training that is lacking throughout the game of basketball right now,” said Edwards, who holds U.S Olympic career records for assists and steals. "I have become very familiar with the training philosophies of On Court Player Development® and I realized that this really is something special. Now, to be able to be a part of it is great.”

But are the kids learning how to play the game? As coaches from youth leagues, to high schools and AAU – we must get back to the basics and teach our players how to use the talent they have to become the best they can be. It all starts with fundamentals.”
