Former Olympic sprinter Marion Jones hopes to catch on with WNBA team
When former track star Marion Jones was released from federal prison more than a year ago, the sports world awaited her comeback. But if you expected the 34-year-old former world-class sprinter and mother of three to return to the track, you were wrong.
Try the WNBA. Since October, Jones has been working on her basketball skills and conditioning with an assistant coach and the head trainer of the league’s San Antonio Silver Stars.
